The Company is headquartered in Campeglio, in a large building with a casaforte wall built and fortified at the end of the thirteenth century.

Both the manor house and the Company itself date back to the fifteenth century, though many changes underwent over the centuries, up to the current configuration.

WINES AND PRODUCTION

Vini

All wines undergo a period of maturation and aging in oak barrels, before being bottled. For a few years the use of oak barrels has been introduced, for fermentation and maturation of carefully selected types of red or white wines of particular value, also after drying the grapes.
The non-barriqued wines are bottled in the spring following the harvest;  those barriqued after an aging period that can range from 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of wine.

Bottling is not done for all the wines produced every year,  but only those
that are selected according to the quality achieved.

The qualities produced are:

  • Dry white wines: Friulano,Ribolla Gialla, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio.
  • White wines sweet: Verduzzo Friulano, Picolit.
  • Dry Red wines: Pinot nero, Merlot,Cabernet franc,Refosco,Schioppettino e Pignolo.

THE VINEYARDS

Vigneti

The Vineyards (specialized) have an area of about 11 ha, conducted directly by the members of the Accordini family, with the help of a steady employee and some adventitious ones.
The grapes used to produce the wine come exclusively from vineyards owned by the company, located in the hills of Campeglio and Prepotto and are harvested by hand after a careful selection.

The farming systems are capuccina short and guiot with production of 2-3 Kg.  of grapes per plant and a density from 3000 to 4000 plants per hectare.


THE CELLAR

Cantina

The Cellar consists of two rooms of about 250 square meters each. The first one is for vinification and contains steel barrels up to 350 hl; in the second one, the ripening and aging of wines take place, part wooden and part steel with a capacity of about 500 hl.
There are two tasting rooms and a wine bar, where you can buy our wine.

The Accordini company's goal has always been to focus on quality and uniqueness through low yields per hectare and the use of methods of vinification,  attentive to new technologies but always respecting tradition.
